Long before the push of a button, this pot brewed slow, stovetop coffee in French kitchens, turning an everyday ritual into something worth lingering over. Finding one with the original pot, interior strainer basket, perforated strainer lid, and outer cover all together is becoming increasingly uncommon, which makes this one an especially great find.
Today, it feels just as at home displayed on open shelving or a kitchen countertop as it once did beside a wood-burning stove. It's the kind of piece that adds warmth, history, and a little conversation to a room without trying too hard.
